Following the success of Studio17’s Nest Utensils for Joseph Joseph, it was thought the same concept could be applied to a compact set of utensils that could store away in a drawer.

To exist in a kitchen drawer, the set would need to cope with living alongside a range of other utensils, being knocked and bashed around during daily use. Crucially, it means these core utensils are kept together for easy retrieval without becoming entangled with other items.

Hence, the magnetic handles of the original were replaced with a non-slip base, featuring a spigot that each tool hooks onto, guaranteeing the set stays together in the drawer. It also means each tool is easily removed and replaced without being fiddly, and allows the whole set to be removed without falling apart.
