The humble bag clip is an often a forgotten item, languishing in a drawer until called upon. Joseph Joseph asked Studio17 to re-think the objects purpose, making it an everyday essential.

To redress this, Studio17 created a kitchen ‘widget’ that not only clips bags, but includes a useful dry-wipe face to note down expiry dates and contents. The top of the clip provides space for the supplied pen, whilst the magnetic back allows NoteClip to be attached to a fridge – giving a multitude of uses like holding shopping lists or reminders. When stored on the fridge they are immediately available for use.

The writing face can also be useful for planning a week’s meals, labelling items in the fridge, freezer of cupboard for use on a specific day.
