The compact design retains the portability of existing models whilst packaging the additional functionality of an alarm clock. In use, the product is connected to a strap and then hooked onto the users luggage, which when lifted give an accurate weight measurement of the contents.
A bright backlit screen gives a clear visual indication to the weight or time when in use. In addition a small speaker bleeps to indicate when the weight is set. This speaker is also used for the alarm feature of the product.
